3000 miles in 2025
I have decided to cover 3000 miles (5,000 kilometres) in 2025 for my physical and mental health.
To keep myself motivated during this journey, I will sell these km/miles to raise funds for charity.
Each kilometre will cost £1, and for those who prefer miles, they can purchase miles at £2 each.
1 km = £1
1 mile = £2
As you may have heard, no donation is too small, so I kindly ask you to consider purchasing some miles. If you are unable to donate, sharing this initiative would also be greatly appreciated.
This will be a long journey, and I promise to take you along with photos and stories as I walk or run my kilometres.
The Charities
**The Curtis Palmer Program**

The Curtis Palmer Program focuses on supporting serving and retired police officers and police staff by following the NHS’s five steps to better mental health and well-being. The aim of CPP is to help service users return to work in a better state and to improve the quality of life for those who are already retired.
**Pilgrim Bandits**

Pilgrim Bandits raises funds for expeditions and grants that provide injured service personnel and emergency services members with specialist equipment and wheelchairs. By working with Pilgrim Bandits, individuals are pushed to new physical and mental limits, which helps rebuild their belief and confidence in their own abilities.
The story
The 5000km or 3000 miles are, in reality, 4970 km, and they represent:
1966 km run – Romania from its most western to the most eastern point.
3004 km walk – Romania’s land borders.
The distances are part of a virtual event, Run Romania! (Alearga Romania!) whose goal is to encourage as many people as possible to adopt an active lifestyle and exceed their limits.
And because I found it awkward to ask the Brits for donations for Romanian charities, together with Run Romania! organisers, we have created a similar system in Romania where the participants can donate their km to a local charity.
I truly appreciate your support!
